Photographer's Note

For each balloon in the air there痴 one and often two cars on the ground - The ground supporters follow there balloon and sometimes send up small test balloons in order to reveal the different wind-directions in different heights.

The task (in order win the contest) is to drop small sand backs at marked goals on fields along the route - I believe this what happens here. Two balloons heading for the same target.

I will try keeping up with the critique the next days.

Hi Jeppe. I never seen anything quite like this let alone heard of balloon racing. It does seem like an accident prone sport. The only thing lacking is the sky but that's out of your control. Good work Jeppe.

At first glance one thinks the Volvo balloon is forcing Sonofon down, but they are probably at a better position with the sand bags. Well captured moment - even better if you had showed us the top parts of the Volvo balloon as well I guess.

First I saw the two ballons,-nice I thought,when I scrolled down I saw the complete scene-Great!Looks dangerous too,with so much traffic on the street.

Jag har bjat hos en Dansk vogman nu s� d舐f 舐 jag inte h舐 s� ofta.
H舐 har du lyckats med konstsycket att f蚣ga kaoset b蘚e horisontellt och vertikalt samtidigt. Mjuka fina f舐ger i denna bilden.

Insolite situation. Je ne sais si ce jeu est le m麥e que la chasse au renard. Ce jeu consiste � laisser partir une montgolfi鑽e qui doit d駱oser une cible au sol et les autres montgolfi鑽es essaient de viser cette cible avec un projectile � ses couleurs. J'ai ajout� ce clich� au th鑪e "Montgolfiers"

An interesting series that we can follow along nicely. I like the drama in this shot and how you've framed the two balloons while allowing the viewer to see the action below. The scene is dynamic and colourful. Well captured.
