Oulu in spring, a photo from Oulu, North

Photographer's Note

I took this picture in Oulu, in Northern Finland, where I spent the weekend. Went back to visit my friends there for the first time in 6 years! My friends were the same lovely people but I found the city growing and changing. There is a new yacht port in the centre, which gives the place a new charm in the spring sun. You can see the tower of the main church in the back, as well as the yellow building of the city-hall.

I've never been to Finland but But I think that
your picture shows the feeling I would expect
from the place. Compo is perfect and the motorsailer in the foreground would fit exactly my needs. :-)
