Cadillac '51, a photo from Western Finland, South

Photographer's Note

One of the biggest annual events in Tampere is Hot Rod & Rock Show. For obvious reasons it wasn't arranged last or this year. Inside the exhibition halls there are pristine show vehicles, but also the parking lots for visitors have a lot to see when enthusiasts arrive to the event. This is Cadillac, very likely from 1951, but I don't know the exact model.

How wonderful, Kari, this shining Cadillac looks to be well maintained and in driving condition.
The owner, though we can't see his face expression - must be a very proud with it, good that he enabled you to take this picture.

Hello Kari,

One of the most beautiful American cars out of the fifties.
I've learn drive with this type car, my neighbour boy worked in the garage he was fifth year older than I self, when the boss was away for business, than were we the King!

Hello Kari,
A great shot of this classic car, you captured it from a good, low point of view. The sunlight was perfect and reflected nicely in the shiny parts of the car.

I'm a big car lover, so this is one i'm going to like for sure.
its amazing how large and bulky these cars are compared to today's. for instance, look at the size of that bumper and all the chrome! love it. cheers

I thought that there were no such old and formidable Cadillac cars left, nothing more than in Cuba, but collectors who have the whim keep them, I like the perspective of the photo and the quality.

an old friend had a similar car from 1952, it was american one and it was so spoiled by the time that the floor had a big hole and I could see the asphalt. this is a beautiful car and I liked the rounded shapes of those days. nice view.
