Personally, i always find if difficult to compose these angled shots - do you place the river banks on the diagonal or straight across the horizon line? its always a battle for me :)

a fine photo despite the really harsh hard white lighting conditions you were facing. the water reflections add to the scene's charm. nice shot

In looking through your gallery, I am struck by the rich bright colours and toanl depth. Then I read your profile and discovered you are a painter and all became clear. Your photographs display a strong artistic vision and are remarkable for their clarity and richness. This one is a perfect example - I could see this as a painting in oils or acrylics, and it would be tempting (although I don't think TE allows it) to 'play' with this in Photoshop and apply some of the more subtle artistic or texture effects.
