Petite France II

Another impression from the district of Petite France in Strasbourg with probably the best-known part of it. The water in the foreground is the river Ill, or at least one of its four branches that flows through Petite France. The Maison des Tanneurs and right next to it Place Benjamin-Zix are at the heart of the area and of this photo.

Goedenavond Lars,

Straatsburg heeft zoveel te bieden, dat alle foto's gewoon mooi zijn.
Hier ook weer de Duitse invloed, van aan de gebouwen.
Mooi perspectief en diepte foto.
Natuurlijk de bloemen en het water, maken van uw foto een beauty

En klassisk vy med denna praktfulla samling av korsvirkeshus l舅gs floden. Jag kan se n虍ra personer med munskydd, men annars verkar pandemiskr臘ken ha lagt sig. Det 舐 trevligt tr蚣gt bland serveringarna p� den soliga sidan av floden, precis som det ska vara i augusti.

Hello Lars, the light is managed really well, which becomes more apparent when I view the large version.
It is a very attractive place, and you found a good point of view where the river winds its way through this part of the city.
The flowers add lots of extra colour, and the timbered buildings look great.

Beautiful spot well captured in Strasbourg.
So many attractive houses. Petite France name suggests that it is actually a small fragment which was really French in the otherwise German town :)
No I don't want to be a side in the conflict.

Wow, isn't this beautiful!
No wonder it is such a tourist attraction!
You have chosen a perfect spot, where the river can act as a guide and gently lead to the timber framed houses, either side, and emphasise the pretty additions of the huge flower displays.
The light was perfect, brightening the buildings and creating shimmering water reflections.

What a wonderful place the "Petite France", this wonderful photo brings back precious memories, because the shore of this channel I crossed several times, because the first day it was cloudy and the next day with sun, I went back to do the same route, everything is beautiful the flowers in the canal, the houses, the reflections ......
A fantastic photo, with beautiful natural colors, very good lighting and excellent sharpness.

This is another wonderful view. It reminds me of a scenic spot in Nuremberg, Germany that I visited many years ago. All the buildings and flowers are so pretty. This photo would make a perfect postcard. :-)

Opvallend veel bruine kruisen (of x-en) op de witte gevels.
De vele kleurrijke bloemen zorgen voor een charmant en pittoresk zicht.
