Photographer's Note

Louis XIII style building built in the seventeenth century, whose facade is classified since 1931, the Town Hall of Troyes houses the majority of municipal services. It is set up Alexandre Israel also throne where all summer a beautiful old carousel.

i have seen some a few such carrousel in France, always look very attractive. This one is very beautiful, with the pictures of monuments. Why it stands? Would be fun to ride the lion or the red rocket. Yes I know it is for kids :). Beautiful facade behind.

I like the contrasts between these two "buildings", the colorful childish carousel and the strict and elegant town hall in a classic style. Such contrasts make a city interesting and lively. You balanced the two features very well in the composition and the colours are excellent.

Hello Jean,
Interesting juxtaposition between these two contrasting objects; the rather garishly decorated roundabout and the elegant fa軋de of the Town Hall. Both are shown in superb detail in an image that is well exposed and has excellent colours and clarity.

A hot makes you feel good to look at bringing back memories of childhood days......
I just love the old fashion carousel, it's vibrant and vivid in colours and detail with extra features in the background and lots more to see. Good observation on your part finding the best possible way of making a shot like this. Well done, Congrats.

More riveting than the town hall is the interesting old fg carousel. Instead of the usual horses, we have flying pigs, bathyspheres, lions and mermaids! Wonderful juxtaposing of the 2 different subjects, with the one at right full of vibrant color contrasting to the white town hall. Tfs!

This is a skillfully taken photo with excellent DOF. The red on the carousel adds 'punch' to the FG and I also like the people walking in the square.
