Tour Eiffel, a photo from Ile-de-France, North

Photographer's Note

This picture probably needs little explanation, other than the Eiffel Tour was lit up prior to the 14th July Bastille Day fireworks.

To answer those who wish to know where the picture was taken from - it is the top of Tour Montparnasse.

I do know the Eiffel tower, under many angles (by the way, I have created a theme in which your pic will go directly ! ;-)
But this pic really surprised me. I cannot remember, but I don't think that anybody ever posted one pic taken from la Tour Montparnasse. It's very impressive, all the more because this is not the usual lighting.

Quelle teinte surprenante de la dame de fer !!! Comment ca se fait ? La photo est impressionnante, est ce la foule qu'on voit au pied de la Tour ? Ca aurait ete bien si tu avais pris la meme mais un peu plus tard dans la soiree.

A really great photo with lots of sharpness. I never knew that Paris also has a more general business skyline, as all I ever see in photos is the famous landmarks. Maybe I should revisit now that I am old enough to appreciate its beauty. Thanks for sharing.

I almost missed this excellent photo !
I like it very much for its great clarity and sharpness, certainly a benefit of using your impressive weaponry, I like too how the tower in red detaches over the background, and how well rendeered this red color is. Shooting time is good too, and it seems the multitude has already gathered to enjoy the fireworks. Congratulations for this outstanding achievement !

This for me is the most amazing image of the Eiffel Tower I have ever seen, superb composition, colour and light. The skyline in the background is perfect, everything about this image is for me a big WOW! Thanks indeed for sharing this.
