Rivoli

If you remember photo from Prague and Rome similar to this one, you might know that I like taking shots of rows of houses this way. Rue de Rivoli in central Paris is perfect for it as well. The street is known for its shops of leading fashion brands. It runs for a large part alongside the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens. This photo was taken from the corner of Rue de Rivoli and Rue de l但miral de Coligny.

Du har en fm虍a att trycka ihop vad som fmodligen 舐 en ganska luftig och attraktiv fasad till en massiv klump genom att ta bilder ur den h舐 vinkeln. Fasaden 舐 fint inramad av tv� gavlar och de b蘚a ra stoppljusen nere till her balanseras i viss m蚣 av de tegelra skorstenspiporna uppe till v舅ster. Bilden 舐 uppenbarligen noga genomt舅kt.

nice repetition of architectonic shapes in a compo with a nice graphic aspect. a compo using those arches and lamps only would be interesting too.

Goedenavond Lars,

Ik ben er nooit geweest maar mijn boeken kennis is vrij groot.
Veel mooie architecturale gebouwen, dus voldoende keuze, wanneer het weer en mensen het toelaten.
Repetitive gevel van grote omvang.
Mooi scherp en helder gefotografeerd, bedankt.

I know what you mean.
I also like the effect when the perspective squeezes the view like this. In a small space you can have an array of many houses or like in this case one house but long with repetitive elements on the facade.

A good idea to concentrate the lens above ground level and focus on the beautiful repetition of the design.
