Je ne sais pas o� cette photo a 騁� prise mais je la trouve remarquable. Le cadrage est tout � fait 騁onnant. On dirait un jeu video sur lequel de petits personnages 騅oluent en tous sens.
Id馥 g駭iale. Coup d'oeil parfait.

I have never been to Paris so I will not eveng guess where it is from.
What really struck me was the abstract view to it all, at first I thought it was a photo from a video game or something.

Great high perspective, sharp features and perfect light to bring out colours
Symmetry to the netire photo works great.

Je dirais le Trocad駻o. Oui bon d'accord j'ai trich� en allant sur Google Earth! En tout cas, la compositon est tr鑚 belle et originale. On a l'impression que les personnes ont 騁� plac馥s 軋 et l� pour faire un tableau. On dirait du Magritte!

Possibly the best post of the day. Quite an abstract view. Looks like some people are walking on the wall!? I assume it's probably a trick with the transform function. Whatever it is, the result is unbelieveable.

Fantastic work Bertrand. It's obviously from something you can go to the top of, but I can't imagine how you were hanging out to get this view, seemingly without any perspective. I wonder if the town planners are wasting their time designing such a wonderful ground pattern if we go around and not notice it.

Strange perspective!!
At a first glance I thought that you shot vertically, from the top of a building; but it is not so, since people are represented nearly in front of the camera. And the geometric decoration is not in perspective.
Maybe a ... murales on a wall?

It is now almost 10 years since last time I have been to Paris. I things change a lot in such short (long) time! But it has to be an important landmark since many of the people in your shot are looking at the place where you were standing. Anyway, you got here a very nice picture, with excellent colours and a great POV. Well done.

Hello Bertrand, very good idea other time with this comment. First of all, very good composition and spectacular view, from ... the second part, I think this photo was taken from the Eiffel Tower with the 300 mm focal length (I suppouse) and this square is in the Palais de Chaillot, I always think is the Trocadero, but I don't know very much the difference. Congratulations, I wait for your response :)

A peu pres 100 personnes, donc a mon avis, une metaphore sortie de l' esprit appelant a un pointage numerique semblable en jouant sur le subconscient des membres qui se vautrent sur un pix comme fourmis sur un pot de confiture degoulinant ....:-))))

Avoue que je ne pouvais resister, surtout apres 2 bonnes bieres bien avant le diner, et sans se prendre au serieux trop longtemps!

une image que je trouve tres bien realisee, qui saute aux yeux des le "thumbnail" et dont l' idee merite felicitations. Ou est-ce? la Defense peut-etre, ou alors tu etais en helicoptere!

Wow what a fantastic image Bertrand, my first impression with this shot was how original it was, with the great square patterns which make up the ground and the many colourful people. This is one shot I'd love to hang up in my loungeroom wall. Great work.

I remember the forst riddle and I was impressed but your subsequent shots have been out of this world, betetr than the first. This one is my favorite. Why? People. You use people here instead of colors or lines to create a highly graphic photo. Im a bit obsessed with that, people for me are a must have and you have them in spades.

I went to a photo show here in Seoul, a photo festival actually that styarted yestrday. And I saw one huge print measuring maybe 1.5m in height and 4 or 5 in length. It was huge. The photo itself didnt really impress me on its quality of composition but the sheer size did impess very much. Im imagining this one at that size. Its impressive at this tiny size, how would it be 4 m across and 3 m high?

cette photo a quelque chose de sur饌liste... si on ne se concentre pas trop sur les d騁ails, on aurait l'impression d'un jeu vid駮 de PacMan. Le contraste fort entre les tons du sol et les couleurs des personnages donne un int駻黎 artistique ind駭iable � ta photo. Bravo

Bertrand, j'ai vu qu'une tricheuse avait donn� la bonne r駱onse !
Quoiqu'il en soit c'est une merveille cette photo. Elle a tout pour plaire : le graphisme, les couleurs pastel et le POV qui r馘uit les humains � de petites bestioles qui font un peu d駸ordre dans cet environnement g駮m騁rique.

cette photo est g駭iale avec une certaine illusion d'optique sans doute due aux motifs et � "l'annulation" de l'effet de perspective par le cadrage qui nous fait croire � une prise de vue verticale, impression d駑entie par la position des pietons. En r駸ulte une impression curieuse mais vraiment excellente!

Trocadero il me semble. Je me demande seulement d'ou tu as bien pu la prendre? et c'est ce qui me fait hesiter un peu. mais il me semble bien avoir remarquer ces motifs quand je suis passe il y a quelques temp visiter le nouvel aquarium. En tout cas ces tous petits petits personnages sur ces formes geometriques forment une compositon remarquable. Bravo!

Excellente vue ! Les personnages en contrebas donnent une echelle de la taille de la place ! Ton objectif devait 黎re cal� sur 300mm pour voir la place du trocad駻o depuis la Tour Eiffel avec cette taille l� !

Salut Bertrand, je suis nul en devinettes et si 軋 concerne Paris je suis encore pire! Mais ce que je sais, c'est que ceci est une image bien exceptionelle! La longue liste en fait preuve! I think I know but I rather prefer to keep the mistery. I love misteries. In fact this photo reminds me to a Hitchcock movie called "North by northwest", He shooted a scene at the United Nation building quite symmilar to this one, and of course, very different at the same time. Take care.

Bon Ok j'ai trich�: j'ai regard� tes exifs et � 300mm plus de doutes possibles: le troca pris de la Tour eiffel (du premier ou du deuxieme 騁age ??).

On voit bien que le v駭駻able Sigma atteint ses limites � 300mm o� la nettet� n'est plus � son top (moi j'essayes de me limiter � 270mm avec et dans ce cas cela ne se passes pas trop mal...).

j'adore le r駸ultat que tu pr駸ente ici. Je n'aurai personellement pas reconnu l'endroit (et n'aurai rien gagn� cette fois-ci), mais la composition n'en reste pas moins int駻essante (sans l'appat du gain).

Bertrand, I was quite busy lately and completely missed this beautiful shot. You've really created a great visual effect here. Great eye for detail as you have perfectly used placement of those small squares in top part of your photo and balance it with big front 3 squares. Very well seen and captured. Lucie

Photo en ouverture de TE, je la d馗ouvre ainsi. Elle est formidable et m'int駻esse d'autant + que j'ai fait qq photos sur le parvis il y a 2 semaines et que la vue du pavement � plat est compl鑼ement diff駻ente. J'ai tout vu en diagonales!
Vraiment un grand bravo et aussi pour ton cadre!

Je suis tomb馥 sur cette image par hasard et je crois halluciner...
Personnellement, je ne cherche pas de photo � effet graphique, je pr馭鑽e l'駑otion et l'intimit�...
Mais quand j'en vois une de cette force l�, forc駑ent...l'駑otion explose. G駭ial...je comprends son succ鑚...
Et dire qu'il a fallu penser � se trouver haut !!!
