Photographer's Note

Mary-Antoinette (Vienna, on 1755 - Paris, 1793) Queen of France (1774-1792), she had to confront one of the most complex and the heaviest situations of consequences of the history of France. His marriage with the dolphin of France was the concrete expression of the inversion of alliances in favor of Austria operated by Louis XV. Mary-Antoinette was unable to be interested in politics in the first years of her presence in France, but pushed by events, and preoccupied by the hesitancy of her spouse, she then had to play a political role. She became " the Austrian ", "Madam Deficit" then, in Revolution, "Madam Veto", Mary-Antoinette was so unpopular she made almost the entire population fully against her. It was after all because of great misunderstanding.
