Photographer's Note

On my way to Chartres it stared snowing. And snow kept falling steadily.
From where I stood I could hardly see the Cathedral. Holding an umbrella in one hand and my camera in the other. I hoped that the edifice would show itself on the photo. As it turned out that it did not as clearly as I expected. But this photo has become so precious as I only took one colour photo of our lady under the snow that day. There was no one in the streets and the snow kept on falling.
