Photographer's Note

Nissan lez Ens駻une is a commune of the Herault near Beziers.
Away from the city you can find these old mills.
The Balaye mill
It was built in the seventeenth century, the roof rotates to allow positioning of the wings against the wind. It was restored in 1996, arrangements were reconstituted to move the wheels.
In the background the Tiquet mill restored in 1986.

Hello Didi,
A wonderful and simple composition with windmill wins the impressions. The blue sky contrast with the wall colour of the windmill. Excellent saturation and pov.

cher ami didi bien retourne avec cette image tres simple mais tres belle avec cette moulin dans le premier livel et avec un ciel tres blu

Le vent doit 駱rouver un grand soulagement en soufflant moins fort pour faire tourner avec autant de v駘ocit� qu'ailleurs ces ailes tordues pour plus grande efficacit�!
Bravo aux restaurateurs pour cette merveille qui ne semble pas s'ennuyer � cause de la pr駸ence de sa voisine composant un bel 駲uilibre photo.

La distance entre les deux moulins � vent donne d ela profondeur � la composition. La prise de vue peermet de voir les d騁ails et les couleurs du moulin � vent. La bonne luminosit� fait ressortir la beaut� des couleurs. Bonne soir馥.

You're capturing well this windmill and surrounding nature by a good composition and very excellent tone/clarity, so it's impressive to see the windmill with lovely design and a good color combination. this is a marvellous way to present the arid and desolate landscape and the simple and elegant windmills which are perfectly integrated in it and in your composition. I love the dynamic diagonal perspective that develops the sense of depth and space superbly. The positions of the wings and the equally dynamic lines they bring in the frame work wonderfully too. Moreover, I love the rendering of the light and natural colours, the intensity of which varies giving a fascinating and maybe also dramatic tone to the desolate atmosphere. Old windmills tell good indication about our ancestors wish and ability to exploit wind energy, Didi, pitty goverments nowadays do not subsidize more and more on this pure environmental favilities.
Fine depth towards to far side WM, notable use of a filter on image.
