Photographer's Note
I intercepted this pair of tourist photographing their shadows on the cabin
I positioned withdrawal so as not to include mine to not violate the TOS :)
Photo taken at sunrise clearing the white balance of my camera
Differences in color temperatures we notice between the parties in the shadow influenced by morning blue hour between 10,000 and 22,000 Kelvins and orange tones of the rising sun between 2,000 and 5,000 Kelvins.
In fact, the human vision is more sophisticated.
Personally I saw the slightly bluish gray shadows by the reflection of the sky color and the color of the cabin less orange.

Hello Didi,
A most interesting and well presented composition. It is true the colours 'seen' by the camera are not always those remembered by the photographer. Also, some artistic licence may creep in during any subsequent pp work.

i have stuck myself to manual temperature control since the time i learnt to process RAW images. as you told, the automatic kelvins of the camera can be tricky and useless at combination of different light sources. the most difficult one i had to manage was a combination of daylight + tungsten + white fluorescent light, and it was a counterlight photo too!!!
here, i love the result of your own kelvination, the shades are blue as tungstenish, and the warmth on the cabin is an adorable soft daylight.

Bonne soir馥

Bonsoir Didi,
Bonne soir馥.

Bonsoir Didi,
I love the composition, story and contrasts of this picture and really enjoyed them even without having a clue about Kelvins:) (The smile is apologetic, I'm not happy in my ignorance:) The image looks simple but is fascinating and eerie too. I like very much the clear textures, even in the shady foreground. The two shadowy figures look ghost-like, as if they had risen from the foreground shadow itself. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,

Hello Didi,
You captured an interesting combination of light blue, pink and dark blue. In a way it's a simple photo but the light and colours make it attractive and the shadows add a humorous touch to it. Besides, I also like the brick roof and the faded plaster and the well worn wooden door.
Kind regards,
Gert

I like the 2 shadows which are well positioned on the wall and animate the shot. Good sharpness and a fantastic warm vs cold color contrast between the red roof and blue sky and dark grey blue fg. A well composed shot with the horizon line level and well away from the centre. Bon semaine!

Hello Didi
A fascinating shot this. The shadows on the wall has a great visual effect. A fine colour combination with the bluish foreground and the orange tones in the background. I do also like the texture of the wall. A nice picture that together with your note works well as a "textbook" in colourtemperature.
Have a nice week.

Bonjour, cher ami Didi,

Bonjour Didi,
Oh, this is great! Too bad the camera doesn't perceive what our eyes do, however, it can sometimes be a blessing in disguise. Not only that, but we can manipulate it for effect. :) This is a fun scene, photographing the photographer, but in a unique manner. This would have been an interesting study in its own right, relating to the color temperatures...but it takes on a whole new twist with the silhouetted figures and their pose. An infusion of humanity during natures sunrise, a delightful combination. Have a great day ahead. Take care.
Friendly wishes,
Jason
