in the picture the meuse river at Charleville Mezieres.

''the meuse is a major European river, rising in France and flowing through Belgium and the Netherlands before draining into the North Sea. It has a total length of 925 km (575 mi).
From 1301 the upper Meuse roughly marked the western border of the Holy Roman Empire with the Kingdom of France, after Count Henry III of Bar had to receive the western part of the County of Bar (Barrois mouvant) as a French fief from the hands of King Philip IV. The border remained stable until the annexation of the Three Bishoprics Metz, Toul and Verdun by King Henry II in 1552 and the occupation of the Duchy of Lorraine by the forces of King Louis XIII in 1633. Its lower Belgian (Walloon) portion, part of the sillon industriel, was the first fully industrialized area in continental Europe. The Meuse and its crossings were a key objective of the last major German WWII counter-offensive on the Western Front, the Battle of the Bulge (Battle of the Ardennes) in the winter of 1944/45.

The Meuse River is represented in the documentary "The River People" released in 2012 by Xavier Istasse.''

Multi-green tones prevailing this beautiful river scenery, and as a bonus you managed to collect a marvelous reflection.
Picture is perfectly divided by the real view an its mirror over water. Fine photo despite the cloudy sky.

Intriguing actually how the contrasting bright boats pull the eyes as strong focal on a greyish day and successfully bind the rest of the elements. The lovely lush foliage breaks the colours whilst the still water lends this a beautiful final touch. You have great location for a few shots on which I am you are more that happy with this outcome, Congrats.

Ciao Alessandro, molto buona vista di questo fiume interessante e bella con le barche interessanti sullo sfondo, molto ben composta e catturato in questa buona e bella fotografia. excellent note too, I've never really heard of this river before.

the photo works so well because of the obvious reflections, but i also like the split down the middle of the frame coming across the frame from right to left. looks great

Welcome back! What a beautiful view over the motionless river. The different green hues in the grass and trees are attractive and the boats make a nice contrast. The grey sky create a wonderful, tranquil mood.

A fine and sunny day is nice of course, but cloudy day is also nice and sometimes better in shooting. I think selight light could help to establish this masterful image. So wonderful landscape via very sharp and clear presnetation as your trademark.

Il est bien joli ce paysage. Superbe point de vue qui donne l'impression que tu as les deux pieds dans l'eau de la Meuse. Les bateaux ressortent bien malgr� le temps gris.

A region where the Meuse flows through a truly natural area.
Very beautiful with the small island in the middle of the river and with the densely forested hilly shores.
Beautiful reflections in the water.
