La rapidit�, la pr馗ision

Le h駻on cendr� sait se montrer tr鑚 patient pour attendre le bon moment pour frapper.

Quand la proie passe � la port馥 de son bec, il 騁end le cou � une vitesse fulgurante et l'attrape en une fraction de seconde. Les Celtes s'inspiraient du comportement du h駻on sur le champ de bataille. Ils combattaient nus pour 黎re plus rapides et pr馗is que leurs adversaires alourdis et ralentis par des protections souvent massives. Ces deux atouts les rendaient redoutables et extr麥ement efficaces sur le champ de bataille. De plus, leur nudit� provoquait le trouble chez les combattants adverses qui, effar駸, croyaient que ces guerriers nus b駭馭iciaient d'une protection naturelle invisible.

Excellent capture of this heron waiting patiently to catch his dinner. The well rendered plumage stands out perfectly against the grassy background.

A very well taken photo of the heron, ready for a catch when the moment arrives. I like its posture and look of concentration. The two tones of green make the photo eye-catching and attractive and there is a fine balance between the grass and the water.

A superb capture of heron which momentarily remained still enough for you to capture it in perfect sharpness. It looks kind of shy and suspicious of any sudden movements. Well composed using the rule of thirds. Tfs!

C'est toujours un grand plaisir pour moi que d'en rencontrer un par hasard sur les rives du Richelieu. A ce moment je deviens aussi vite que Lucky Luke pour d馮ainer...ma cam駻a. Car ils sont tr鑚 habiles au camouflage. Tr鑚 r騏ssi comme composition.

These herons can sit so still and move so suddenly when they see something of interest in front of them in the water. Excellent capture of this one, standing ready to attack. The background adds a nice array of green tones.

Hallo Philippe,
die Geschichte �ber die nackten Kelten ist ja noch viel interssanter als der Reiher! Ich habe es noch nie geht oder gelesen, aber ich kann mir gut vorstellen, wie diese Taktik die Feinde verwirrt hat.
Der Reiher ist sch wiedergegeben in seiner lauernden Stellung, ich frage mich bloﾟ, wie er die Beute in dem von einem gr�nen Teppich bedeckten Wasser sehen kann.
