L'馮lise Saint-Remi est mentionn馥 dans un cartulaire (recueil des titres) de l'abbaye b駭馘ictine de Saint-P鑽e-en-Vall馥 r馘ig� en 1070. L'馘ifice actuel, a 騁� enti鑽ement reconstruit en 1600 � la suite d'un incendie. La charpente est dat馥 de 1651.

Bonjour Philippe,

The church certainly retains its ancient appearance, but, apart from the cross near the door, has few external features to identify it as a church. Though there were once windows, these have been blocked up.
I wonder if it has become obsolete, like many churches in the U.K.
The old, random stone wall, looks old, too.

Your photograph is well exposed and very well composed, with all the features strongly placed.

Philippe, that church is very old, it has resisted to the aging and the bad weather. It comprises a garden and it is encircled by a low wall in stone. Fine colors, good sharpness, amiti�.

Hello Philippe,
Even if this church was completely rebuilt as "recently" as 1600, it looks older to me. The very simple design and plain walls make a medieval impression on me. It is a very appealing building, and I like the low wall at the front too. The photo is very well exposed and very sharp.

Les cons駲uences de l'incendie sont encore partiellement visibles.
Si la fa軋de est repeinte, l'馮lise contrastera encore mieux avec le ciel bleu les jours ensoleill駸.
Les fen黎res du haut ont 騁� ferm馥s pour une raison inconnue.
Pr駸ent� sous un bon angle.

Bonjour Philippe, an interesting building, not immediately identifiable as a church, it's really only the cross that confirms its true function.
Buildings and sites such as this have such long histories, always a pleasure to view them and know that they have survived.
