What an amazing setting for this Abbey. What we can't see is how they reached it - a steep road or??? A superb photo in the large view.

A beautiful view of this abbey on top of the cliffs, surrounded by a wonderful mountain landscape. Wonderful lighting too, which makes the architecture stand out very nicely from the natural backdrop.

Philippe, that abbey is located in a remoted place. It is nestled in the Pyrennees mountains and surrounded by deep valleys. I guess the religious persons living here in the past had few contacts. Fine colors, good sharpness, amiti�.

Now this is an unusual view!
We are usually looking up to the tops of high walls, not down on them!

You have done a fine job with your composition, clearly showing viewers how the monastery is situated on a high plateau, with stunning views of the mountains around!

It must be quite isolated!

Une vue magnifique � vol d'oiseau de l'abbaye et de la nature sauvage environnante.
L'emplacement de l'abbaye peut 黎re simplement appel� spectaculaire.
La distance entre le feuillage en face, l'abbaye et les montagnes en arri鑽e-plan donne beaucoup de profondeur � la photo.
Cela semble 黎re une belle r馮ion pour des excursions � pied, puis se retrouver � cette abbaye.

A beautiful view of this monastery built on hard to reach mountain cliffs. It seems that it was not so easy to find a good viewpoint where trees would not obstruct the view. I would like to see a little more of the sky here.

amazing view which was recorded from a best possible point of view! We can see the multiple wings of the castle structure from above but most importantly, we can as well admire the setting of this fortress on top of the hill and in such stunning surrounding.

What a amazing shot of this monastery nestling on the mountain edge.
I like the slightly obscuring view f/g of the monastery to the open view of the mountain ranges. The view is so clear and sharp as far as eye can see.
I can also see the aches of your latest post where the light and shadows come from.
