Ch穰eau de Beynac

Cette construction m馘i騅ale, d'allure aust鑽e, perch馥 sur le haut d'un plateau calcaire domine le bourg sur la rive droite de la Dordogne. Le ch穰eau pr駸ente la forme d'un quadrilat鑽e irr馮ulier prolong� au sud par un bastion en 駱eron. Le s騅鑽e donjon, garni de cr駭eaux, date du xiiie si鐵le. Prot馮� du c� du plateau par une double enceinte, le ch穰eau surplombe la Dordogne de 150 m.

Superbe vue avec le tr鑚 effet de ces reflets tr鑚 lumineux � la surface de l'eau, le ch穰eau est id饌lement plac� sur un point fort de la composition, un lieu au bord de la Dordogne qui m'騅oque d'anciens souvenirs. Merci du partage.

The famous and beautiful Chateau atop the giant cliff above the Dordogne river. Hope you will show a view from its old walls about its surrounding valley, the sight as I saw on Google-Map virtual tour is just stunning.

Hello Philippe,
The old castle still looks very impressive, and from this angle and distance it is beautifully reflected in the river. The panoramic view is neatly divided in three sections, all of which are perfectly exposed and with fine, crisp colours.

Bonjour Philippe,

This chateau is well positioned, on a ridge, above the town and with easy access to the river.
Because you were quite a distance from the chateau, you have used the river well, to create interest from the reflections.
It's a well composed photograph, abiding by the rule of thirds.

What a beautiful photo of the castle on the other side of the river and seen among lots of green tones in the trees. You placed it very well in the left hand side of the photo also. The reflections in the water are lovely too and brought out extra well in this sunlight.

Love the timing when the castle is bathed in a glorious sunshine with the reflections adds a strong focal and foreground feature. This does look inviting with feel of scale and superb contrast to blue sky. A lovely visual composition well taken.

Bonjour Philippe,
you have a great collection of castles.
This is a stunning photograph. The light is magnificent, there is so much luminosity in this scene. The reflection is so vivid even though it is not smooth, it is decorating the foreground so nicely.
The pattern of clouds in the sky so subtle yet very dynamic.
Fantastic point of view chowing the castle in the wonderful natural context.

Le ch穰eau domine tr鑚 haut au-dessus de la rivi鑽e.
La diff駻ence de hauteur entre le village sur la rive et le ch穰eau est 駭orme.
Magnifique avec les rives envahies et les reflets dans l'eau.
