Photographer's Note

At the edge of the Bassin d'Arcachon ... And at the edge of the hamlet of L'Herbe. Here, fishermen and oyster farmers have built their cabin-workshops, terraces for the preparation and tasting of their famous oysters from the Basin.
On the next view posted on TE, I will add to this POV a foreground...

Hi Jean,
I like the amount of various details on this beach scene. Boats, shells poles and even that little cart on rails. Really well framed view. I wonder where the nice weather is. You have a terrible heat wave. And here it is 13 degrees and raining.

A really nice view and the composition is well divided between the water, dotted with boats, and the yellow beach in the foreground. Also all those shells hanging in the left hand side make a nice detail.

Bonjour Jean, the sun bleached wood as well as being weathered by the sea adds to the charm of this picture.
So many little boats moored near the beach.
The net bedecked with shells is a lovely feature.
