Photographer's Note

Hi,
back to Nimes, the 15 of june. Waiting for the concert of Radioheadn the evening in the Ar鈩es, a little walk in the city to the Gardens of the Fountain (jardins de la Fontaine in french).

Theses gardens, in the north-west of the centre of town are built on a gallo-roman place of which remain the Temple of Diane and the Magne Tower on the top of Mount Cavalier.
The gardens were drawn in the french style in 1745 by Jacques Philippe Mareschal, military engineer of Luis XV and a local architect, Pierre Dardailhon.

These two pensive walkers were having a rest, looking to the statue of this antic god.

delkoo, adores has marked this note useful
