Holocaust Memorial, a photo from Berlin, East

Photographer's Note

Not to forget, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, better known as the Holocaust Memorial is located in Berlin's Mitte district, and was designed by architect Peter Eisenman, along with engineer Buro Happold, to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust .
The monument is located in the area once occupied by the Third Reich propaganda minister, Goebbels and consists of 2711 concrete stelae of the same length and width, but variable height, the effect that you try addentrandovisi and anxiety and disorientation.
It was inaugurated on 10 May 2005.

giusto non dimenticare e bene hai fatto a propore questa immagine che ,al di l� del nobile significato, � apprezzabile per la successione di volumi che la luce scolpisce e che grazie alla tua tecnica si trasforma in uno stupendo quadro astratta.

Siamo vicini nella galler�a oggi:-) Ho gi� visto immagini di questo monumento, e mia figlia che l'ha visitato lo trov� molto oppressante.
E normale perch� � il s�mbolo dell'orrore che gli Ebrei soffriranno durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale.
Ottima composizione e bella gestione della luce, dei colori e della nitidezza.

Le monument parle par lui-m麥e et je dois dire qu'il est tr鑚 expressif par sa forme et sa r駱騁ition. J'aime le jeu des ombres et de la lumi鑽e ainsi que la profondeur de l'ensemble.

a great achievement, well exposed, good contrast chosen, resulting in a very graphical impression. The main problem is where to cut off the most upper part - I would have preferred a lower cut.

A poignant image which makes an interesting abstract image, made up of lots of concrete blocks. One of the greatest tragedies in history is commemorated here so bold which is the way it should be. Since the holocaust and up to the present day, genocide has been prevelent in many Countries. Have we learnt any lessons? Have we Hell as like, It is to our shame we still turn a blind eye!! Well done shot.
