Today I want to start a new series with pictures from a viewpoint called "Glastr臠erfelsen". It is a precipitous cliff above the railway station at Hausen im Tal. Here you see a beautiful early morning view from this rock towards Castle Werenwag, which is maybe the most famous building in the upper Danube valley. Furthermore the full moon passed Jupiter in that night. If you take a closer view to the image you will detect the bright glow of the planet below the full moon. There is a cropped version with a better view to the full moon and Jupiter in the WS. To be continued ...

Heute startet eine neue Serie mit Bildern vom Aussichtspunkt "Glatr臠erfelsen". Der steil abfallende Fels befindet sich oberhalb der Bahnhofstation in Hausen im Tal. Das Bild zeigt den Blick kurz vor Sonnenaufgang hin zum Schloss Werenwag. Es ist vielleicht das bekannteste Geb舫de im Oberen Donautal. Desweiteren gab es in jener Nacht eine Begegnung zwischen Mond und Jupiter. Wenn man etwas genauer hinsieht, kann man den hellen Schein des Planeten unterhalb vom Vollmond entdecken. Im Workshop befindet sich ein Bildausschnitt, wo das treffen zwischen Vollmond und Jupiter besser zu sehen ist. Fortsetzung folgt ...

Guten Morgen Helmut,

ein Foto f�r uns Fans des fr�hen Morgens..sche Wahl des Hochformates, kommt dem Bildinhalt sehr entgegen..
nehme mal an das die Lichtverh舁tnisse sich in den n臘hsten Tagen spektakul舐 steigern werden.. :-))
Sehe den weiteren Bildern mit Spannung entgegen..

Hallo Helmut. Das sche Bild erkl舐t sich selbst. Es geht in die Kategorie Romantik (die es bei TE jedoch nicht gibt). Sch, wie Du dieses Motiv komponiert hast. Alles zusammen wirkt hervorragend. Viele Gr�e, Wolfgang.

I did a photo some days ago but I guess it was venus at side of moon, maybe jupiter..
beautiful image, the landscape is almost not visible and magic with its mysterious cliffes and castle. simple and beautiful

Here we have a blue hour shot at the other end of the day. :D You must have been up very early. Good view to the castle perched on the cliff and also hints of other buildings in the trees. In my ignorance, until I read your note I assumed the 'star' was Venus.

Hello, Helmut!

The vertical position is great here to include the moon in your composition! It also helps to give the idea of height! The dark colors are excellent! Good job!

Congratulations for this xecllent use of vertical format. The blue of the sky is wonderdul. The castle arise in the black of the night. Composition welle balalnced too with the moon well located in the image.

A very magic and mysterious composition,background is almost invisible in the dark,but moon and castle itself creates an interesting viewpoint.
The spirit of the photo gives an impression of fairy tales mood,witches,magic,vampires...

Good vertical format to include the cliff and the moon within a shoot, clear to see the geographical feature with a V shape and the background with layers of mountains while the surrounding environment still in the dark, very poetic and enjoy to admire your night photos, thanks for sharing.

Ich wusste nicht, dass Du auch auf TE bist (Ich selber bin es nur selten) Sehr romantisches Bild mit dieser wunderschen Sicht auf das Schloss Werenwag in der Ferne unter dem Mondschein. Viel Atmosph舐e hat das Bild.
