Photographer's Note
Last weekend we again have had a hike to my favourite place here in the surroundings of my city, Siegen. It is a "mountain" with an altitude of 465 m - and on its top a steel framework look-out which was inaugurated in 1896. You can see it in the workshop - and using the map view function left hand. I put the marker there at the viewing platform.
On sunday - and as you can see it really was a "sun-day" - we have had this view in a south-western direction.
You can see the hilly landscape of my region with mountains up to 600 meters and behind the horizon in a distance of about 70 kilometers there's Rhine valley in the Bonn area.

Really! QED. I'm only afraid of the matrix of your camera. :)) But maybe 1/125 s of sun light will not kill it. :)
Impressive presentation.
Regards my dear friend.

Hallo Frank
Schnen Tag

Hello Frank,
Of course so! The sun is really a star. This is visible very exactly on this photograph. There will suffice only properly to cover up the diaphragm, afterwards direct the lens on the sun, and then to press the trigger of shutter. Of course, it is necessary still to know, as every bit of it to arrange, which to choose the background and so on. Here all happened after Your thought.
Best regards from Mosina,
Jurek

Yes it is a star and it's Sunday a perfectly detailed landscape. Perfect balance of lights and shadows.
;-) Good camera with good eye behind it. Congratulations, my favorite again.
I would be afraid the sensor might get damaged, I am not trying anything like that with my camera.
You deserve all the comments you have got. Good note too, as usually.
Chris from cold Mississauga.
PS.February 27 !!!!!!! - last day.

Hallo Frank.

Was solls ?

Hello Frank,
A nice shot showing the hilly landscape in a contra-light situation very well. It looks like the hills would last into the infinity. The silhouetted foreground trees act as a good framing.
Greetings from now mildly cold Espoo,

Hi Frank!
I never saw a sun shot like this. Did you use a filter?
Nice panorama.
