A nice start of a new day. And yes, I stood in the water.

This is not a HDR, I used a little bit extra contrast to make the picture extra exciting.

Wonder why you had to stand in the water, Robert, though it was in summer morning and water probably not so cold...
Fine mild HDR to new start of a day. marvelous vatiable light, mist, reflection and illuminations combined.

Hello Robert, a very special image at the start of the day. The sparkle from the lights is a real plus. Excellent choice as a vertical image so we see the rocks and grass in fg. A most lovely landscape

A mysterious atmosphere given by the clouds and their reflection in the water. The grey hues are contrasted by the orange lamp posts, giving some life in the image

Het is werkelijk een mooie landschapsfoto, u gebruikte geen HDR maar uiteindelijk is foto fantastisch geslaagd van kleur.
Het licht en de weerspiegelingen zijn zeer aantrekkelijk
Ook een mooie compositie, en een mooie diepte en perspectied beeld.

The light management of this picture is very good. You managed to have a clear and detailled foreground and dark clouds in the background.

I must say that I would have bet on this one being HDR would it not been for your note.
Having said that, this is a magical portrait the Hintersee region. The early morning light is sublime, the reflections perfect, the clarity amazing and the warm lights of the houses inviting, all under this gorgeous grey and laden sky. Beautiful indeed.

I'm not sure how you find your shooting locations, but you seems to have an eye for staking out the best ones :)

and you often get your feet wet don't you, maybe thats the secret huh!

Your light management is outstanding blending the natural and artificial lighting to create a fairytale scene. The reflection is great adding extra depth and balance for the scene.
