Dark, foggy and very cold night has created this beauty of nature. Blue sky and beautiful white trees.

But you have to be very fast with the camera, the white beauty will not last for too long.

The warmer February sun will remove it within hour or two, it will just melt down, the beauty will go, or wait for next dark, cold and foggy night窶ｦ窶ｦ..

Hello Miro,
This is a simple but beautiful composition. The tree is magnificent and the fine light makes its frosty branches shine. I like how the lower part of the tree is hidden behind the hill, making it look like the upper part is growing straight out of the snow.

Dear Miro

I have only seen this phenomenon twice. Once in Sth Korea and again in Romania from the comfort of a warm intercity bus. But both times it was not possible to get a photo. In Korea I had to go to work. And in Romania the bus was moving up and down too much on a bumpy and winding road, plus the window was fogged. Looks great here though. Tfs.

an special texture of the ice here. marvelous image using well the beauty of the elements.
here in brazil some few colder towns use water to wet the trees to create sculptures of ice during the colder days of the winter.

A poetic photo that seems to belong to some Disney film or Narnia, maybe. - Fantastic color of the sky and the surrealistic tree. I think it is smart that your pov does not allow to see the foot of the tree. The yellow lamp is brilliant.

A beautiful composition, I can not enjoy the full, unable to open, gallery size, but big tree completely white by snow, is bellisimo and gives great graphics to image.
Sharpness, exposure, color, POV chosen, and the magnificent composition are all factors that I liked in this beautiful image.

This is beautiful! Indeed we, who live in tropical countries do not see this spectacle often, unless we are ona vacation to the Northern reaches of our countries. This simple compo is very elegant with the tree spreading across the frame...and the frosted leaves and branches standing out against the blue sky.
The yellow lamp is a great focal point as well
