Photographer's Note
Sometimes you do not need much to stand out of the crowd. Change color of the brick from red to black and you are different. Ironically, the red seems like a color which should be catching the attention and here it is opposite, the black brick is rare. 釘lack House, as it is known among locals, is situated on the west side of the square Am Sande. It was built in the mid-16th century as a brewery. Today it is the seat of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Too often especially young people try to fit into a group giving up their identity, something what makes them special. I had a feeling of being quite different from as long as I remember, and I always saw it as a good thing. Being black sheep does not have to be negative. It may mean that you are specially gifted, more perceptive, more sensitive than others. Occasionally, it is challenging. Yesterday I was filling in an application form for car insurance. I am tearing my remaining hairs out every time I do it. The questions are very clear and simple for whoever was born here but they don稚 always make sense to me. Sometimes, the answers seem contradictory because the questions were asked badly. For example, question: what driver licence do you have? I choose option 擢ull EU licence, next question: when did you pass the driving test? Well I passed it in the USA, and later in Poland as well. I suppose I want to say that I have driving licence very long, so I tend to use the date of my first exam. But this is not something what can be confirmed with the current driver licence. And if I finish this form, my data will be forwarded to another insurance company which has the corresponding questions formulated in different way: they ask how long do you own this driver licence? And what I wrote before will be not correct anymore. If I don稚 correct it, it may void my insurance, if I correct it, I may pay administration fee. That is just one of up to 100 questions I need to answer.

Czesc Mariusz!
Luneburg looks like a wonderful German town especially the Alt stadt depicted here. Nice repetition of the fg bikes and good sharpness. The al fresco diners have a good view of the square. Tfs!

Hi Mariusz
Not a common building colour but it does provide good contrast to the others. A good sunlit photo.
Cheers

Hi Mariusz,I laugh when I read your notes about the forms to fill out regarding car insurance. With the bar I am struggling with bureaucratic complications like this every day, and I have many, often really ridiculous. For example, the anti-mafia self-certification, in which I declare that I am not a mafia man ... ehehe .. The black house, very particular, was a good reason to talk about the black sheep and address this interesting topic, and the photo is as always perfect. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello Mariusz,
You are right, people who devise forms do not always think about double meanings or difficult vocabulary.
I know when I was still working, there was a determination to make sure that forms were as simple as possible but still collect the appropriate information.
I wonder if it would be possible to speak to the insurers on the phone, so that you could explain your problems and they could guide you through what they require.
The photograph portrays a happy, social atmosphere. (Those were the days!) The bikes, the people, the alfresco cafes. all combine to create this atmosphere, whilst the surrounding buildings encapsulate it all.
The lighting contrasts were very harsh. I wonder if it would have been possible to selectively brighten or dull particular areas.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hello Mariusz,
This market square looks really attractive here with lots of different fa軋des, but all really beautiful and some of them built in very appealing brick Gothic style. The black houses do stand out very nicely here. The foreground adds a lively mood, too.

Hello Mariusz,
Being different makes you stand out in the crowd. Even when just about the entire environment looks vibrant red.
For young people especially, it is important to belong somewhere. The feeling of being different and seeing that as a good thing, I think, also has to do with education.
You had that feeling as long as you remember. Other people sometimes have to go a long way to get to that point and have to overcome many obstacles from the education they received.
You present us here a very beautiful square with fantastic architecture all around.
This part of Germany clearly looks like cycling country. The foreground reminded me a bit of a view from the Netherlands.
Beautiful cloud lines in the left upper corner.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mariusz!
This architecture reminds me a bit to Wroclaw in Poland.A fine composition with many happy go lucky people in pre corona times.

indeed there isn't so much houses painted in black, here in my town I can remember only a mechanical workshop with murals attached. I never had courage to park the car and take photos, the murals were nice, now they are gone.. excellent image of this german town.
take care

Hi Mariusz,
Look, I have visited cities and towns in Germany, but this one has a different personality and style, this large square is wonderful and the building in the background in black is striking and is a great contrast to everything else.
A magnificent color, which gives the image a lot of chromatic richness.
Optimal management of lighting and sharpness, with a good perspective.
Well done. I like it.
Have a nice day.
Very best regards.
Luis.
P.S. The churches of Romania are completely painted inside and many also outside, although some of the weather has damaged the paintings or they have been lost, you will see more. Now I am going to upload a photo of its interior.
