Photographer's Note
Where on Earth is Eutin? This is one of those charming places off the beaten track which international tourists probably skip. There is too much to see in the region and simply not enough time to see it all. I had the pleasure to live in Schleswig-Holstein region of Germany for 2.5 years. I made some good friends there. Our best friend without a doubt was Tina. We met her for the first time in Kiel, and since then we made a lot of local trips together. She was from Lubeck and she knew plenty of hidden spots which she showed us. Tina took us for a trip to Holstein Switzerland (Holsteinische Schweiz), a picturesque region north of Lubeck. You could call it a lake district, I suppose. Eutin is a village located near one of those lakes. There is a charming castle near a lake which you can see in this photo.
That reminds me there was a TrekEarth member from Schleswig-Holstein, Harriet, but she is not active here anymore.

Hello Mariusz,
Eutin isn't only one of the places I have skipped. I'm afraid that so far I've skipped most of Germany during my journeys :)
You have certainly already achieved here that Lneburg has received more attention.
I had never heard of Eutin. It's also only the second photo of this location that appears on TE.
The castle here is well presented from a good angle, framed with some greenery and in an attractive colourful picture.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mariusz,
There is nothing better than to have a local person take you to the local beauty spots. They will be aware of places that are not included in guide books!
This looks more like a palace than a castle and showing some delightful details.
The metal dome reminds me of a helmet of a German soldier.
The windows are very curious, with such tiny panes. They seem to date back to a very old style!
You have collected some delightful images on this bright, sunny day.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Mariusz,
Despite my visit to Schleswig-Holstein two years ago, this area has remained secret to me as well up to now. Such a beautiful shot of the beautiful brick walls of the grand building as well as its charming towers. The light and colours are perfect.

Czesc Mariusz!
Great warm cold colour contrasts between the blue sky, red tiled roof and pale red facade of this impressive old building. Tfs!

Most impressive building, Mariusz.
The picture was taken from a fair distance to include a whole edifice, yet it has good contrasting colors.
This village, as written, probably best known to local people.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Hello Mariusz.
Magnificent framing of this castle with a mixture of a palace, well surrounded by the green of trees and garden, very original facade with so many windows, all of them with their shutters, original and very different the finish of the tower integrated into the facade with that shaped dome hull, original also the turret of the central body of the building.
Very good color that increases the attractiveness of the image.
Superb brightness and sharpness management to enjoy the details.
Well seen and done. I like it.
Have a nice day.
Very best regards.
Luis.
