Photographer's Note
I wanted to share with you one more photo from the non-existent anymore Sand World. These beautiful sculptures were meant to be temporary but, as I wrote under my previous photo, even the festival itself ceased to exist. In this photo the actual sculptures are relatively small and distant, but this time I tried to capture the context of the coast. This area, Travemnde, is administratively part of Lbeck. As the name suggests it is der Mund (German for mouth), exit of River Trave to the Baltic Sea. Travemnde is located on the western side of the river, on the eastern side starts Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a county of former East Germany. The Priwall Peninsula was the end of West Germany and in few minutes walk from this beach there was a country border, the iron curtain.

Hello Mariusz, we get an excellent impression of the event from this point of view. You have managed a slightly elevated viewpoint which works really well.
The site isn't too crowded, so we are able to appreciate all the sand models easily.
The sea with the yachts makes a lovely background and puts everything into context.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Mariusz,
Today, I feel like a judge, circulating around the beach, with the other figures, carefully scrutinising the sculptures. To me, they do not seem small, at all, they look quite large!
It is interesting to see how the sandy beach relates to the sea, with its plethora of yachts. You have composed the two areas well, in your thirds composition.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Mariusz,
Some like to be creative in the sand. Others prefer to be sporty on the water.
Fortunately, there were higher spots on the sculpture site so that you can present us a nice overview of what was made there and you also brought the many sailing boats in the sea into view.
I hope you didn't have to climb on one of the sculptures for this photo. Maybe you were in the tower of the sand castle :)
Best regards, Paul

Czesc Mariusz!
A real pity the festival is no more as it gave people the opportunity to get outdoors and admire some stunning works of art made from sand, however temporary they might have been. Tfs!

Hello Mariusz,
A grear of this sandy area with lots of different sand sculptures and many people admiring them. They also add a good sense of scale. The blue sea makes a nice colour contrast and the many white sail add an appealing pattern in the distance.

Hi Mariuz,
While it is difficult to see all the intricate details of sand sculptures on this overall view, the impression of great summertime even is very evident. All the sculptures look imaginative and people inspecting them make this scene very lively.
