Photographer's Note
There is no "T" missing as this is not Montreal, Canada, but Monreal, Germany, instead.
The absolutely picturesque village of less than 800 inhabitants is situated in the valley of Elz creek, which several kilometers downstream flows around world famous Eltz Castle before joining the Moselle.
It has a long history of successful cloth production and can muster two castle ruins in direct vicinity.
@Lousat: This area did not suffer much from the Eifel floodings, the creek gauge just went up by 2 meters.

A rural town with many wooden beam typical design like thpse we see on this picture, Sven.
Saw the town on Google-Map, 50.3, 7.165 general location, a small placre along the river and an old fort on top on the hill near by.
Found a good perspective upon the river and houses.
Good afternoon,
Ike

Hi Sven, the old houses are still there after the flood and it's a great thing, magnificent capture from this small village with a curious name that in fact reminds the big city of Canada,i like the perspectice and the perfect sharpness too. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Sven,
This idyllic village, do me think at Monschau, also in Germany, almost the same construction.
Also a nice architectural area.
Lovely natural view too.
Pleasant to look at.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.
