Another shot from Oberammergau in southern Bavaria. I liked the 3d effect in this one where the painted drape appears to be part of the window at left.

Hello Chris,
Cleverly made trompe l'oeil paintings, not least the "shadows" of the figures. I might think of this as a bit kitschy, but I must admire the skilled painter. You captured this well with the good exposure and well chosen angle.

A good close-up photo of the wall paintings on this fa軋de. They stand out clearly in this fine sunlight and give a great impression of this tradition in Southern Germany.

Hello Chris, the artist certainly knew what he was doing, he has created a good 3D effect by adding the shadows.
The two 'plaques' are maybe by a different artist?
It is a very colourful shot, and the plain windows are perfect to complement the art.

Hi Chris,
One of the best classic wall paintings I've seen. Colours are bright, and still there are lots of different shades. And pictures describe more festive side of life brilliantly.
