Photographer's Note
The cold rainy days made me remember the warm sunny days I had in Athens.
The image is taken from the heights of Acropolis, the most iconic place of Greece.

Hello Daniel,
I like this composition with the "heaps" of stones in the foreground and the more identifiable temple far back. I also like the good light, especially on the nearer ruins, under the fairly dark sky. In the distance we get a hint of the number of tourists coming here.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Daniel, an excellent point of view with the stones dominating the scene, and the remains of a temple making a good alternative focal point.
The presence of the people add to our impression of the scale of the scene.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Daniel
Good sharpness and perspective with the neatly stacked stones guiding the eye towards the bg Acropolis. The tourists animate the scene and provide scale. Tfs!

Hello Daniel,
I have to applaud your choice of viewpoint!
Using the accumulated stones as a f/g reminds us that this is an ancient ruin and though a credible amount is still standing, imagine what it would have looked like!
Excellent dof and great sense of depth!
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Daniel
A good one from the acropolis with some stang structures but also what looks like the pieces for a giant jig-saw puzzle in the foreground.
Cheers

Hi Daniel
I love your low vp together with wide lens effect here rendering a strong perspective and depth leading to main interest behind. There're some tremendous detail, lovely low warm light and darker sky to counterpoint. The row of visitors lend another strong point. Remarkable shot

Hi Daniel,
a very original presentation from this spectacular location. You have well included the piles of stones in the foreground.
Further in the centre we can see the temples with the caryatides being the most recognizable fragment of it.
Presence of people demonstrates the huge scale of the place.
Pleasant light and nice general mood captured.
Very well done,
M

Hello Daniel,
Not the classic Acropolis picture but a very good one.
The many large stones and the cloudy sky fill most of the photo.
Beautiful light. Excellent perspective.
Best regards, Paul
