Photographer's Note

It is amazing how many detail, abstract and patterns shots one can find in a fishing port! So after the general views and boat photos i did in Glyfada i made a series of small details. Here is the first one of an old scale in a fisherman's sales booth!

Interesting still life shot. The compo is good as well as the colros. The red is beautiful against the blue.

Rich details for a very common object. This one has had a long salted life. Precision and colors in your very rich composition with a poor object, but important in economic life for fishermen.

Tr鑚 bonne id馥 d'avoir s駘ectionn� cette prise de vue. J'aime les d騁ails de ce cadran de vieille balance o� le temps s'est pos� � voir les traces de rouilles, mais dont les chiffres et les chiffres restent tr鑚 lisibles.
J'aime beaucoup 馮alement l'ombre port馥 par le cadran et les couleurs bien satur馥s.

Ωραίες μαλακές σκιές, τα χρώματα ζωντανά και ταιριαστά, η σκουριά δίνει ωραίες αποχρώσεις και τονίζει πολλές φορές τα αντικείμενα. Ωραία και ενδιαφέρουσα δουλειά, αρκεί να βρίσκεις θέματα σαν αυτά!

A very good and interesting close-up. The red diagonal lines make a very good decoration, very good compo.

The scale detail is a nice add to your previous shot from the fishing port, George. The two things that tease my eyes in this one are the shadow effects, and the textural details (wall, rust, ropes, etc.). The vivid colors and the strong light are other assets of this nice shot.

Εξαιρετικές λεπτομέρειες και χρώματα και ένα πολύ ζεστό φως να τα ντύνει! Μάτι καλλιτέχνη για να τα εντοπίζει! Πόσο ζυγίζει το φως του ήλιου; 250 γραμμάρια (θα μπορούσε να είναι ταινία)!

I like the deep colors here clear dancing in the sunlight, sharp and the red is the contrast to the rusty meter. Sunny close capture, very well done.

It is amazing, but you also need a very good eye to be able to see them all. I really enjoy the light and all the shades of red with all that red. Another nice one George.

Weight watchers are everywhere :)
The slight rust on the scale is your label. The red plumbimg around it is the usual bright color complement. You have an eye not only for details but also for colors.

Ομολογώ ότι είναι η πρώτη μου επίσκεψη, αλλά με άγγιξε,στην στοά σου! Παρατηρώ με θαυμασμό πως αναδεικνύεις! απλά πράγματα και σκηνές σε έργα με δύναμη στην θέαση και που μιλάνε με την πρώτη ματιά!
Ωραία στιγμή εδώ, αλλά κλέβει την ματιά και στο ζύγι!
