Just one hour away from the center of Athens, to the beautiful and unknown for many, mount Parnitha you can go and breathe fresh air, escape the hustle and bustle of the city and take a break from the daily routine. You may walk, run, play or take photos. You can also stop off at the shelter named 溺pafi� to relax and enjoy your morning coffee, a meal or just the wonderful view.
It is located in the heart of the mountain. It is an organized and appropriate place to accept visitors of every age who can take the opportunity to unwind in nature and discover the unique fir forest of Attica across the National Park of mount Parnes.

Δημήτρη καλημέρα,
πολύ εντυπωσιακή η φωτογραφία σου από την σκεπασμένη με ομίχλη Πάρνηθα με την κόκκινη σκεπή του καταφυγίου νε κάνει το τέλειο κοντραστ με τα υπόλοιπα των χρωμάτων.Το μισοεμφανιζόμενο επάνω μέρος της κεραίας δίνει άλλη δυναμική στο σκηνικό.

Εύχομαι ότι καλύτερο για τον καινούργιο χρόνο με υγεία και ευτυχία,Δάνος

Very nice view of this colorful house on the mountain, taken from a good POV! But the tower in the background emerging from the clouds is the greatest part of the picture! The view from there must also be beautiful! Wonderful composition! Excellent job!

Hello Dimitris,

This is a thought provoking shot.
The f/g reveals the rocky outcrop, surmounted by a colourful house, typical of regions of Greece. But, then, behind it, the telecom tower rises through the mist, like some super rocket from Mars. I just love it! It's the stuff of science fiction!

μια πάρα πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα σύνθεση που μας παρουσιάζει χαρακτηριστικά στοιχεία του τοπίου σε μια ιδιαίτερη στιγμή. Η ομίχλη και οι αντιθέσεις στον φωτισμό και τα χρώματα προσφέρουν μια ατμόσφαιρα δραματική και μυστηριώδη. Μου αρέσει πάρα πολύ ο τρόπος που ακριβής περιγραφή και φαντασία συνυπάρχουν, ο θεατής βυθίζεται στην εικόνα καθώς την εξερευνά. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!

A moody landscape benefited from small windows of reasonable weather, just how exciting the chalet and the backdorp can be but looks like you were in for a storm! Lovely capture and bags of drama in this - the menacing clouds really makes this shot as I feel the moodiness with glimpse of the tower adds that special touch. The image gives the impression of remoteness & height but it all leads towards the catchy red & yellow for good omen! Splendid shot

Hi Dimitris,
The mist (or clouds) provide a very good effect here by obscuring most of the tower, just revealing the top. The house below is well situated on the cliff and it provides very strong and fine colours against the soft background.

Good sharpness and the mist adds mood and atmosphere. Smart choice of a vertical format to emphasise the height. The red roof contrasts well against the blue sky. The partially obscured telecommunications towers adds interest. The fg hill with green trees struggling for a toehold in the rocks adds depth and layering. Tfs.
