This is the view from the balcony of Ali Pasha's (a ruthless monarch during the time of captivity by Ottoman Empire) summer residence on the island of lake Pamvotida, near the city of Ioannina.
Now the building has been restored and is used as a museum.
The museum - residence stands just a few meters off the lakeshore and the sense of serenity and tranquility you get from this place, is unique and beyond any description.
