Photographer's Note

Foki Beach is a pleasant walk from the delightful town of Fiskardo on the island of Kephalonia. Fiskardo is on the northern tip of the island and one of the few places not destroyed by the 1953 earthquake. Many of the surviving Venetion buildings make it an extremely lovely place to visit.

Hello David,
I really like the different shades of blue in the calm water and most of all the deep blue part in the upper half of the composition. Good inclusion of that ship as well, it adds a nice, calm mood.

A wonderful capture from above, the sea with different blue and turquoise colors.
Nicely combined with the trees on the water's edge and the sails boat.

I like the colors changing from the green of the vegetation through the various tones of the water. The lone boat makes a nice focal point.

Excellent angle showing this old boat over those tree branches. Clear blue water looks just great. Darkish exposure works well.

Hi David

I was lucky enough to visit the southern part of the island after catching a boat from Crete to Kythera to Kefalonia and thence to Neopolis and onwards to Athens. The Mediterranean looks wonderful here and the boat adds a good focal point. Tfs!
