Myrtos beach, in the isle of Kefalinia, was voted as the most beautiful beach in Greece, according to the Lonely Planet Guide. You might disagree on the results of the poll, and you might have your favourite beach, but there is no question that Myrtos beach is very beautiful. Nested among high cliffs, it has a deep blue sea in front of it.

The picture was taken from the main road, which runs about 100 meteres above the beach, with great vista points

Adoro la texture morbida del mare e l'ombra in trasparenza della barca!
Belli anche i puntolini appena accennati delle persone e degli ombrelloni sulla spiaggia!

Hello Stefano,

Nice beah, but almost a very good composition with the little piece of beach on the left side, underligned by the people taking the sun. The sail boat seems to float in the air with such a clear and blue sea.
It is fun to follow how the photos are perceived on TE and looking your last sea posts with same subject and high point of view.

From a plane? Maybe you cropped a lot, and it lost quality in the process, but i like much the framing here and how the boat seems to fly above the water....
I know all these western Greek islands (i lived in Parge for many years) since early 60's.. it was really great then....

se non ci fosse la barca messa li si potrebbe anche parlare di composizione squilibrata a favore del mare.
Ma � la forza di questa barca che sembra volare sull'acqua a riequilibrare il tutto. Splendida!
