Another beautiful small street in Corfu.

The city of Corfu is located on a wide part of the peninsula, whose ending in the Venetian citadel was cut off from him by an artificial moat created in a natural ravine, with a sea moat at the bottom, which now serves as a marina and is called Contrafossa. The old city, which grew within the fortifications, where every meter of land was valuable, is a maze of narrow streets lined with cobbles, sometimes winding, but colorful and clean. These streets are known as kanto佖ia, and older ones sometimes follow gentle inequalities of the earth; while many of them are too narrow for vehicular traffic. The promenade rises over the sea towards the bay of Garitsa, along with the promenade between the city and the citadel known as the Spianada with the arcades of Liston (it) on its west side, where restaurants and bistros abound (from Wikipedia)

Hello Piotr,
The man at his shop front arcade made this a daily-life scene par-excellence.
Colors of the displayed merchandise added nice tones to the beige pillars and pavement. DOF was well rendered.

Ce passage sous arcade est superbe, je regarde le sol aux pierres us馥s par le temps et qui ont pris une courbure (tassement de terrain ?).
Les espaces entre colonnes servent de pr駸entoirs (judicieuse id馥).
Une image originale et tr鑚 int駻essante.

This is a street photo of the kind I would probably also have tried to take. The fine architecture creates superb depth and the view along the colonnade is filled with colourful items for sale. The salesman provides a human touch. The mild light is perfectly managed.

Hello Piotr,
A great view down this narrow street, I really like the perspective down the many columns and vaults. The slight curve in the street makes the composition more dynamic too. The merchandise of the shops adds some nice details.

A very elegant composition, and good timing to catch the man half hidden by the column. Delightful patterns - the stones and columns - and some nice splashes of colour. But the man (a shop-keeper?) makes this photo, takes it from good to excellent. Well done.

Good repetition of the arches with superb use of linear perspective to guide the eye towards the back. The man makes a good focal point. Natural looking color and saturation. Tfs!
