Summer's Memories, a photo from Argolis, Peloponnesus

Photographer's Note

A sunny day of October I was found in the Paralio Atros, where came into view these forgotten armchairs from the Summertime and the red buoys.

Paralio Astros, in the E of Peloponnese, in the Argolikos Gulf, was a small fish village up to the half of the century, today it is a beautiful seasonal centre, fortunately without big tourist installations, that it has accomplished it maintains his character. In the end of Paralio Astros, under the castle, exists this little theater. What from of the two will be supposed to look the lucky spectator?The performance or which is playe or the endless blue?

Hi Danos,

It is a dark, cold, snowy evening out my door .. maybe that is why this strikes me so much .. or maybe it is just a great image .. empty beach .. blue water and those wonderful splashes of color composed just perfectly.

Very well seen and captured, Danos. Excellent light and pretty colors, especially the greens, which really work very well in the frame. The sand and sea areas are pretty too, especially, that little white wave. Regards, Daniel

ωραίο το θαλασσινό σκηνικό με τις ξαπλώστρες να είναι απλωμένες για λίγο ακόμα στην παραλία του Παραλίου Άστρους.Οι κόκκινες σιμαδούρες δημιουργούν μια ωραία χρωματική αντίθεση.

Pic. divided well between sea and sand, contrast is super, and the green sun-chairs with orange-color floats made a vivid contribution to the whole.

Δάνο, αυτή είναι απο το χωριό μου, το ξέρεις πιά..εκει ήμουνα τον Μάιο και δεν έλεγα να ξεκολλήσω απο τήν παραλί αυτή..τόσο όμορφα πού είναι, τόσο απλά...ξένοιαστα, απίστευατ καλοκαίρια..μου αρέσει ο τρόπος πού πάντα βλέπεις τα πράγματα και τα φτιάχνεις φωτογραφίες!!
