Photographer's Note
Kaiafas lake in western Peloponnese is a wonderful place that saw the disastrous fires of last August burn all its surrounding areas. in the middle of the lake there is a small island that remained safe - but unhappy, I think.
I took the photo on that island during a rainy day last week, handholding my wet fisheye to compose all those colorful survivors and include the scorched Lapithas mountain and part of the lake in the background.
the NEF(RAW)file was edited with CaptureNX and NikColorEfex3.

Well, isn't this the cutest flower photo I have seen!
I really like the way you included the mountain and those rainy clouds, leaving these lovely daisies dominate the image...Justice for all, right? ;D
Creative thinking!

Hi Kostas,
A kind of goofy effect with the fish-eye, but the flowers in the foreground are very nice. Good idea and TFS. Gerald

One of the most popular motives in photography ;-)
But the lens gave it the new touch and combined with passing colours and good quality it's a pleasure to sniff ;-)
Best regards
Have a nice weekend

I love daisies and these two look standing out between other bush.
Bright colors and fisheye have nice effects on this photo.
Well done!
