uno scenario ed una foto meravigliosa.
E' incredibile vedere come le case abbandonata dalla popolazione e la vegetazione si armonizzano a perfezione con il paesaggio rupestre e cupo che fa da sfondo.
La luce � quanto di meglio poteva essereci per valorizzare questo scenario da presepe, tra colori meravigliosi e con una nettezza perfetta.

Good grotty take screaming out for attention and sadly abandoned. Really like the rustic look and feel of this more derelict appearance. Love the way you have exposed this, the darker tone in the backdrop intensify the sense of depth leaving the structures stunningly illuminated by the low warm light complementing the textured stonework and lovely touch of green. This definitely makes us wonder what this place was like in it's hey-day now totally forgotten. An appealing shot indeed so competently taken, Congrats

Δημήτρη, αν ειμαι τυχερή και ξεκλέψω λίγες μέρες θα γυρίσω στην ιδιαίτερη πατρίδα μου τήν Πελοπόννησο και θα πάω στην Μάνη...ειμαι βασικά απο τήν Αρκαδία αλλά οτι ειναι κατω απ' τ' αυλάκι....με τραβάει πολύ!!
και φυσικά η φωτογραφία σου ειναι μια ανοιχτή πρόσκληση για μένα..πανέμορφη και μοναδική αλλά παράλληλα συναρπαστική για τήν ιστορία της, την τοποθεσία της και την παράδοση της!!
στο τελευταίο σου σχόλιο έμαθα και που μένεις στην Αθήνα..εχω πολλές ομορφες αναμνήσεις απο το 2004 εκεί!! περάσαμε αξέχαστα!!

well, obviously it was worthy to wait for these few precious seconds when the sun lit the houses because the result is just amazing. The ruins look so much more attractive and stand out from the dark background greatly.
The quality of the photo is very good in terms of the composition, colors and sharpness. I enjoy well given contrast as well.
Very eye catching place and masterly presented.

Hi Dimitris,

Another fine shot of a hillside village with tightly clustered stone houses and all with good sharpness and framing. Superb lighting with the sunlit village in the mid levels, nicely sandwiched between the shadowed fg and bg. There appear to be more than a few ruined houses with no roofs. Tfs!

Wow this is exquisite. Such light you obtained, all that waiting and patience paid off. The stonework is absolutely incandescent and the green tones contrast beautifully with it. A unique architecture - now I see where the Southern Italians got it from, and a beautifully composed shot. I note that name Lakonia - could that be where the English word "laconic" comes from, I wonder?
