Photographer's Note

A ray of weak light spread along the coastal road of Ayia Marina in between two showers. Although it was weak, it lifted the heavy mood of the day for a little while.
The ground floor of the former ruin is now a shop selling vintage decorative objects.

Hello Ourania,
These fa軋des are quite delightful with their exposed stonework and make a lovely contrast with the further conventionally rendered ones. The wet street adds further interest with its reflections. A well composed image, ideally exposed with excellent colours and clarity. The little patch of blue sky nicely rounds out the composition.

Hello Ourania,
This is quite a nice view of the buildings reflected in the wet street. The line of houses shows an interesting mix of very rough walls and neatly restored red parts. Although the nearest wall has a kind of photogenic value it would be great to see it also repaired and repainted. I hope this photo will soon be a document of times passed ;-).

Red is working nicely onto the old houses facades, framing well the doors and windows with a color that off-set the ancient stones and bricks.
rain had washes the asphalt and brought a slight reflection.

As its spring in Ireland, a lot of people are enjoying the sun but not straying far from shelter for reason is always close :) I very much like that they've kept the old textured surface of the building, especially with the nature of what they sell.

il palazzo non sembra in ottime condizioni, ma porte e finestre sono belle e recenti.
Il colore degli infissi funziona bene, attira l'attenzione e la merce esposta pu� essere vista pi� facilmente.

Hello Ourania, the red paintwork lifts the mood of the rainy day; I am surprised to see red,I always associate Greece with the colour blue.
The rain has left some puddles, which offers us some little pieces of reflection and light.
I like your point of view.

Nice reflections in the wet street at right with the bright red shutter frames and door adding warmth to the scene. Excellent lead in lines and perspective are provided by the converging lines of the empty street. Tfs!

we often don't get to see reds as the main focal point colour in Greece photos, so this is a nice surprise. the wet road gives a sweet sheen and glimmer, and the stone is another great element. really like the rustic look here, well documented in this angle. cheers
