Photographer's Note
Streams typically derive most of their water from precipitation in the form of rain and snow. Most of this water re-enters the atmosphere by evaporation from soil and water bodies, or by the evapotranspiration of plants. Some of the water proceeds to sink into the earth by infiltration and becomes groundwater, much of which eventually enters streams. Some precipitated water is temporarily locked up in snow fields and glaciers, to be released later by evaporation or melting. The rest of the water flows off the land as runoff, the proportion of which varies according to many factors, such as wind, humidity, vegetation, rock types, and relief. This runoff starts as a thin film called sheet wash, combined with a network of tiny rills, together constituting sheet runoff; when this water is concentrated in a channel, a stream has its birth.,.

Pelion or Pelium is a mountain at the southeastern part of Thessaly in central Greece, forming a hook-like peninsula between the Pagasetic Gulf and the Aegean Sea. The GR-38 runs in the southern portion of the peninsula and the GR-38A runs in the middle.
In Greek mythology, Mount Pelion (which took its name from the mythical king Peleus, father of Achilles) was the homeland of Chiron the Centaur, tutor of many ancient Greek heroes, such as Jason, Achilles, Theseus and Heracles. It was in Mount Pelion, near Chiron's cave, that the marriage of Thetis and Peleus took place. The uninvited goddess Eris, to take revenge for having been kept outside the party, brought a golden apple with the inscription "To the Fairest". The dispute that then arose between the goddesses Hera, Aphrodite and Athene resulted in events leading to the Trojan War. When the giants Otus and Ephialtes attempted to storm Olympus, they piled Mount Pelion upon Mount Ossa..etc..wikipedia

Hello Georgios,
Quite a change from your port shots with mirror-like water surfaces! This creek just begged for a long-exposure attempt!
You managed very well at that and I also like the composition, the fact that we can follow line of the stream a long way up.
Perhaps it is the HDR, or perhaps not, but the light looks very "spring-like". I like it a lot.
My compliments. Have a nice weekend!

Hi Georgios,
Quite an effective result of this HDR picture of the mountain stream.
I like the soft texture of the white foam, looking a bit like cotton wool !
Good perspective leading the eye quite a way up the stream.
A happy-looking place where one would like to spend some time enjoying the peace and quiet of nature.
Best regards.
Marie-Louise.
