A reflection of boat that could take shot in any Greek marina,but has been captureded in Paralio Astros,like this one.

Dedicated to dear Maggie, LamCam, that says in a previous critic,

"Paralio Astros is one of my favourite places - small, friendly and ,despite the new apartment blocks, still unspoiled in its atmosphere. Your photo makes me remember walks along the long beach, beside the inland lake ( full of interesting birds )and captures the peace and quiet very well."

Γεια σου Δάνο,
Πολύ όμορφη ιδέα και εκτέλεση. Όμορφες οι αντανακλάσεις τις βάρκας στο νερό με ωραία χρωματικά παιχνιδίσματα του φωτός. Λες αν φαινόταν λίγο περισσότερο η μύτη της βάρκας ή και δεν φαινόταν καθόλου, θα ήταν καλύτερα? Μία σκέψη.

Hi, Danos. A good idea to shoot this reflection with the stones visible in the shallow water as a background. The boat makes a nice triangle in the bottom of the picture and the two cables are two good diagonal lines leading towards the corners of the image. Maybe the picture would have looked even better without the blue flag (?) at the bottom.

Thank you, my friend, for your very kind dedication - what a nice surprise! You know I enjoy reflection shots, and this one has a marvellous underwater feel. The composition is a simple one, but cleverly managed, with the many shades of blue and the pattern of light on the water adding plenty of interest and character to the shot. The ropes divide the blue areas and create 'tension' in the picture.

The refelction of the boat together with the rocks on the bottom of the harbout and the blue-green colour palet, makes this almost psychedelic. The strong diagonals of the cables adds to this allready nicely graphic motif. I like it a lot!
