Photographer's Note

"Day after day, day after day,
We stuck, nor breath nor motion;
As idle as a painted ship
Upon a painted ocean."

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner-Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772-1834)

You can see the same shipwreck from a diferent angle, "fighting" with the waves, in one of my previous posts (***Mayday!Mayday!*** ). In this one seems rather "compromised" with its "destiny".

*The focal length was 400mm, because I used a 2X teleconverter on my 70-200mm lens. I switched off the Image Stabilizer for this 25 seconds-tripod shot.
