Photographer's Note
This image shows the upper city of Thessaloniki, or Ano Poli in Greek. It is the oldest part that has around huge walls, little streets, fountains, traditional houses and Byzantine monuments. It was the part of the city that at the Byzantine era till the Ottomans was grown. Here you can also see the Vlatadon Monastery and the Centre of Patriarch Studies.
