I just came back from my summer vacations,with a lot of GB's of photos. Firstly I would like to say thanks to all TE for their so warm wishes. Secondly I dedicate this photo from the full moon to all the members for a very peaceful with lot of fun winter.Nice to meet you again!

Hello Chris,
Although the sharpness is not the best the composition is great. It gives us an unusual and fascinating view of the Acropolis and they space beyond it. The colours are very good and the darkness create a fine atmosphere.

Hi Chris,
I like the minimalist approach on this, its a great combination of the buildings and mountain with the glowing moon. The dark space between adds a nice element to the overall feel of the shot. Nice one, Ive always found the moon really difficult to shoot.

Hi Chris,

Glad you've returned, traveled safely and had a good time. This is a great way to share the beginnings of your travels, almost as if in reverse using a night shot! :) I love how this is composed, even with the negative space filling a good majority of the frame, you've still created a strong visual from corner to corner. An arrangement that works very well to suit the mood and tone conveyed from the city lights in conjunction with the moon above. Smart framing, this is a lovely image. Have a great weekend. Looking forward to more. :)

και καλώς ήρθες! Ώστε ήσουν στη Μήλο, την ξέρω μόνο από φωτογραφίες, είναι πανέμορφο νησί με πολύ ιδιαίτερο χαρακτήρα που σίγουρα θα σου έδωσε άφθονες ιδέες για φωτογραφίες! Η νέα σου εικόνα είναι πολύ όμορφη και έχει ξεχωριστή σημασία για όποιον έχει ζήσει από κοντά την ατμόσφαιρά της. Πολύ ωραία η αντιδιαστολή των στοιχείων και των χρωμάτων, ένας γλυκός διάλογος στον οποίο το απέραντο μαύρο φόντο δίνει ένταση. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!

Kalimera Chris,
Well combined the two subjects, and nicely managed the illuminations: the light on the Acropolis shows well the rock it was built on, and the full moon through the clouds in a very clear view. No excessive celestial light from the full moon, that usually creat a bit of glare on photos.
