strong these last days....The place you see
is called...tHE WAVES....many times the sea
is too angry and the waves touch the buildings!!!

Hello Costantino,
The rough waves have even washed up a lot of sand on the promenade along the sea. We can see the footsteps of the walkers.
The much foam also betrays the turbulence of the sea.
In the distance we can see the famous church of Volos.

Hello Costantino,
This looks very interesting after the storm stopped. It would not have been safe to walk near the edge of the quay while the storm was raging. It's a fascinating view with fine colours and light and the two persons are good for the composition.

At least these waves flooding the esplanade is only of nuisance value and not life threatening. Good sharpness, lighting and framing. The bg belltower adds a distant focal point on the horizon. Tfs!

The washed promenade may demand a barrier built by the local municipality, I guess. Otherwise this would be a daily phenomenon when rising global warming would bring higher sea level.
Anyway, nicely captured the moment.

Storm is over, the sea very quiet

Your title, along with the visual details really set the scene.
The invading sea and receding footsteps in the sand, make the promenade seem like the new beach! The lampposts are dipping their toes in the water!
It is bright now but the consequences of the storm are evident.

I don't know why, but most of us love to see the sea when it is enraged, here the waves overflow the promenade and I find a special beauty, good perspective with the church in the background, the sky is beautiful.
