My sistes loves snow and I know she misses it!!!I thought that she will love to see this image.When the snow started in that day,I went out only to shoot some pictures with snow for her
And I have another surprise for her...the name of that place ...is Blue Mountain

Fantastic, almost surreal mood, but I know it is so real. Been there 12 years ago in winter for a couple of days...

That light and clouds drive me mad:-). Love it the way it's almost monochrome...minimalistic composition, great work.

This is incredibly beautiful, Anellise. It reflects a feeling of complete loneliness, a kind of "noisy silence" signaling the impending storm, a strange feeling of loss and acceptance. This scene perfectly reflects my mood at the moment, reminds me so many things and I love it sooo much. I'd like to add it to my favorites.

Ah it's a sky as in a baroque church, the snow is here and all the colors are gone, and it's a new era for photography. It is amazing how much the landscape change just after a couple of cm snow.
Give me a bottle of vodka it's wintertime :-)

Fine again, Anes, "depth" is a nice title, no objections here, as it indeed reflects the main impression from this view, and this is achieved first by the strong dramatic sky, and secondly, by the perspective of car tracks on the snow-covered road. Great idea with the car lights in the distance, I hope you did not empty your accu while taking the shot ;)))

You posted this during the weekend. It's not fair... :) I almost overlooked it. It's a great one. Full of power. I can almost feel the elements here. What you have done here with just blues and some whites is impressive. The diagonal created by the lit clouds is amazing. Thank God you included that car: it helps giving scale and humanity to the scene. Although it's a machine, I feel the driver lonely in front of such tempest. It's a great photo Anellise. Really good.

EDIT: Wait! You posted it today!!! After all I am not that crazy... I was tricked by the "date taken". 68 points in such little time? Well, I told you it was really good!

Hello Anellise,
Forgot this one, and he is to good to let it pass.
Although the blue sky on top is a bit noisy, it fits perfectly in the scenery which is wild and dusty. Of course those to big grey clouds make the scenery in light and detail (the right cloud is really amazing) but it is the car that is the real key in this image. It makes this landscape complete, just as those poles along the road, just two but very good depth and perspective.
A really excellent photo...very well done..!!!

o poza pe placul meu... cu ceata, nori, lumina interesanta si atmosfera bine surprinsa. desi eu poate as fi fost tentat sa astept sa treaca intai masina trebuie sa recunosc ca e mai interesanta poza cu tot cu masina. When I look at your snowy photos I知 freezing. I have to admit that you are a real master of this type of landscape photography. Your photo and the depicted place look very impressive.
In the last days temperatures have fallen here in Germany too; nevertheless it looks strange to me, that you have so much snow already. How was it before the greenhouse effect? Did the snow begin in August? :-)
Btw: How did you generate this superb sky? With 田larify� as you wrote to me the last time? In case you did, I have to find out what 田larify� is as the result is amazing.

Your pictures from Iceland are so damn good that I want to go there now... Winter is not new to me, but those semi-desertic, semi-mountainous landscape are really nice.
I guess the blue tone all over comes from the fact that night was coming already in Iceland. It gives a very nice atmosphere to the picture. The car on the road adds to this feeling. It kind of looks pretty lonely in that place.
I like the shape of the clouds (do you have control over the clouds too?!) which seem to follow the "road".

The picture is pretty noisy which makes me think you tweaked the curves quite a bit...am I mistaken?:D I like tweaking the curves too...:D Ok, I go now. Have a nice weekend Anes,

Looking at this picture, I got the impression that the angry cloud is chasing after that car in a deserted road. The clod seems to be rolling over the mountain with lots of drama. Excellent all around and superbly captured.
