Photographer's Note

Back from a 2 weeks trip in Iceland in the Western fjords area with a group of friends fans of photography. Our trip obviously began in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, a very pleasant town where I still have pleasure to walk. The weather was cloudy when we arrived but we had a short rift that put a beautiful light on the famous church of Hallgrmskirkja. I had already photographed this church, so I choosed this original point of view that shows very well the basalt columns that inspired Gujn Samelsson, the architect of this famous church that was built between 1945 and 1986.
