Spectacular Sunset, a photo from Keflavik, Sudurnes

Photographer's Note

I was taking a former co-worker around Iceland, and playing "tourist" myself, when we ended up at the westernmost point outside Gardur, on the way to Sandger.

As the day came to an end, we were treated with some incredible views of the sun and ocean.

It's a nice shot of the waves, even with a little backlighting. The sun is way overexposed, and unfortunately I don't know of any way to correct it in this case. A crop of just the wave part might do it.

Well done Mark. You have captured a unique moment in time. My only comment is that we can't make out what the wave is crashing on as it is underexposed.

Well I don't mind that you like to make pictures of "places".
Sunset indeed. Mark the way you played with the settings you made an excellent capture of the surf. Always nice to have a bit of time to play tourist in your own country.
